Rough Idling when sitting still and AC on..................

I was wondering if someone knew why 97 honda prelude would be idling low and rough when AC is on, could it be the AC compressor, or is it just a minor adjustment with the idle, If someone had simular problems to this could you please reply to this topic.

Usually- the A/C kicked on will make the idle rough- Did you just have your battery replaced or disconnected? Tight valve clearances and worn or too hot spark plugs will cause a rough idle as well. If it is not too irritating- I wouldn't worry about it. I'm assuming you have an automatic?
