Default Turbo 101 ( teach me ) WHAT IS NEEDED... WHAT IS COST... Kit or "Home Made"

I have a 1998 Honda Civic. A turbo would be sweet. Now I have an auto civic and im not changing it so this is going to be a boosted auto civic. Keep that in mind.

Now what is needed for a turbo. Please inform. Also give a price too. And should I be looking at a GReddy Turbo kit or a turbo put together by various parts. Please inform me on the way of the turbo. This would be very helpful.

Give me options, prices and insight. Thank You

DO I NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING IN THE ENGINE? any EXHAUST CHANGES? anything? thanks

anything wrong with this GReddy kit? It says for 92-95 though... no go on a 98?

Greddy Turbo kit
Either build your own if you know what you are doing
or Drag 3 turbo kit

It all depends on what you want.
I would go with a greddy kit if you like to have alittle fun on the streets. At mild boost levels its no speed demon but it gets the job done.

Now for that auto tranny.....I know you said you want to keep it but even at stock boost levels it is going to take a beating and once you turn up the boost (you eventually will) it is going to get worse. It will also rob you of power big time.

Like I said it all depends on what your budget is.

Ps: Dont skimp on the fuel system. It is the most important part of any turbo system and if you are going to spend the big bucks spend it there.
