Default differences in these two linkages....?

i have this one that i just got with a 96 gsr motor ....
and this one which is from a 92 ls swap.. but its been cut and rewelded at HCP....

the shafts that have the shifter assembly on them are the same but the ones that don't are different on one end, the LS one has sort of a fork on the end and the gsr has the same thing but also has some other peice welded on that... i am just wondering what the difference is... thanks
oh and whats the difference between the acutual shifters? the gsr has a curvy bend to it and the ls is more straight... does one have a shorter throw? any thoughts wold be well apreciated
i also posted this in the teg forum... but this is home for me and i figure there are plenty of B series swappers here anyways..
