just like the Topic says....Does the 5Zigen Border Speed Exhaust Angle ???

 

im sorta looking for a exhaust that angles... i kno the Apex N-1 Exhaust and the 5 zigen exhaust angles...but does the 5Zigen Border Speed Exhaust Angle also

 

if you're talking about the border 304, then i'm pretty sure no. i've never seen it exit at an angle.

does it angle for the 92-95 Hatches

 

That's the fireball and yes it does angle.

Hmmm...now you got me all confused. Is the Border Speed a different exhaust from the Border? The Border Speed looks just like the Fireball to me. To answer your question though, I'm pretty sure the 304 Border does not come out at an angle...at least I've never seen one that has.

lookin at how the hangers angle it does look like the muffler would angle.

 

yea it looks like it would angle like the Apex N-1 Exhaust

 

i can't see a single difference in the two, and 5zigen america's site doesn't even have a 'border speed', so i'm guessin that it's just a modacar sceme to get some more money off of the fireball exhaust.

your best bet would be to email modacar and ask for specific differences.

heh.. yah i'm confused too. just go with the n1 if you want a guaranteed angle.. but you could, you know, always email them and ask..

 

Why are you looking for an angle? Just wondering.

An N1 is nice and all, but you will scrape like crazy with that exhaust. I know. I have one on a civic thats not lowered and I still scrape every now and then.

 

i like the way it looks...my friend has a teal hatch with the N-1 exhaust and he doesnt scrape that much at all

 

get any muffler you want, take it to a shop, get custom piping, get it angled however your little heart desires and save money at the same time.

i was thinking of getting that and getting 2.25 piping and having it angled as much as the Apex N-1 angles...i like that idea by SleepyDX this will save me alot of money

 

If you do decide to do the muffler/custom piping route, make sure you get a resonator, so you can avoid the loud buzzy sound.

 

when i do the universal exhaust/custom piping....how do i tell them to do the angle job...do i jus show them how much i want it angled ???

Pretty much. bring them a picture that kind of illustrates how you want it, and they should know what to do if they're competent.
