First off, thanks to Bimmer Steve and Carlex for helping me out and getting them to me on time for my track event (July 7-8th).

The pads work great. Braking was definately improved. (I only have HP Plus on the front brakes FYI)

The only drawbacks are the brake dust and the squealing! They squeal terribly like a pig unless they're COMPLETELY warmed up.

I really didn't expect the squealing or brake dust with these pads...being that they are a street/track combo set of pads.

Just my observations, but either way they work great.

 

Did you replace the rotors?

I have hawks and powerslots getting Cryo'd as we speak. should be in this weekend.

BTW apparently the residue from the pads will eat the finish on you rim if you don't clean them.

THe HPS won't squal and don't dust as bad. THe HP+'s bite better but let you know about it

I have the HP plus pads as well and they definitely do squeal and dusts alot. When I first put them on, I had them Cryo treated as well as the rotors. Squeal was minimal. Since then, they have worn down, I did not have time to cryo treat the set I replaced them with but I have noticed more squealling than the old set. I have not determined if it is because the rotors are old or if it is because the pads were not cryo treated... Any comments
