ecu is throwing out 9 quick blinks. The engine light came on after I peeled out in 1st a lil bit but didnt peel that bad. So I figure it was somthing simple. Well now I hear some knocking in my engine could this be from the sensor being messed up and what does the 9 blinks mean? thanks in advance for tha help!

 

a 9 is no.1 cylinder position (only on 1.6)

check your distributor, the wiring inside

 

what motor? I had code 9 during my swap process w/ my ZC & it was b/c I had the dizzy wired wrong. just a thought
