Default KAARUNCH! goes the tranny!

Here a question I''m having probs finding the proper info...hope you can help out

k I drive a 1990 crx Si with ZC swap, and 1989 CIVIC tranny.
My tranny is about to die. I need a new one.
Which trannies can I use. I know all 88-91CRX/CIVIC's will bolt up, I'm talking about which ones will match the amount of splines I have.
Just 89' Civic? Do the Civic and CRX tranny share the same spline count?

please help!

I am fairly certain that the splines only differ in the 88 model. Ryan
