Default Where to buy some OEM parts from?

Ok here is the deal, I need two outer CV boots along with outer tranny seals for both sides of the tranny where there Axles go in.

Any recommendations, other then the standard answers or would they be the best places to look?

I found it easier to replace the half shaft instead of replacing the boots, it was less of a hassle and alot faster to do, it is a bitch to get those clamps on tight enough for them to not leak out grease. Or is it better to keep the Stock shaft then get an rebuilt after market one?

I think there is a relatively inexpensive tool that you can buy that basically resembles a pliars that is specifically for the type of clamp on Honda CV boots....I guess the tools are more common than I thought, supposedly VW's have lots of stuff with those type of clams other than CV boots...I borrowed a set from a friend who's a VW tech who says he uses them all the time....Either way, they get the boots plenty tight so they don't leak.

As far as using stock shafts vs. rebuilt, I guess it depends, I really don't know that much about axles, but I do know that it's a lot cheaper to rebuild them than it is to buy a whole new set, unless you really need spares for the track.

I bought the tool at Pepboys and it still did not tighten them well enough, I even had my roommate keep tightening to make sure it was tight. Well, I guess since other people can do it, then it must be something I am doing wrong. It is abig mess though, all the grease everywhere trying to keep everything together. I just have not done it enough times to do it more efficiently.......

Often cheap tools can yield cheap results, either that, or improper methodology.
Oh yeah, and if the boot and the metal part where it contacts aren't perfectly clean, that's also bad cause the rubber won't get a good seal if there's grease there.

Another thing is, that you may either be using too much grease, or if you're using after market boots and straps, then they may not be as well fitted as the OEM stuff?????

Well....Maybe I'm just lucky with it.....

I got al the parts as said on Wed, Thanks Len.

As for the parts being installed, I am not worried about how hard it is, My freind is doing it for me for free.
