Default preformance timing adjustment for accord

hey guys, i head the timing on an accord 94 from the factory is set so it produces less power than it could. anyone know if this is true and if it is what should i do to get it running stronger???

i forgot to tell u all that i also have an aem intake and a complete exhaust system from the header back. thanks

well, dats true, stock timing is for fuel saving and economy ; not meant for peformance

just advance to 18 degree, stock is 15.........u get low end power, but lost high end power

An adjustable pully would do it right?? like an AEm, or is there a better brand to go with??
what kind of differences would you see advancing 3 degrees? and out of curiousity, what about just 1 and 2 degrees?
Also, will this effect the longetivity of the engine?
