saw a supercharged sk2 run a 14.8 yesterday. Thats the only one i've seen. He definately couldn't drive because he should have been putting up better numbers.

the main problem with the supercharger is traction....1st-3rd the rear end looses traction very easy...also people w/ superchargers dont try to launch their car very hard because of the weak stock differential cuz they dont want to blow it or do a crazy burnout...good times from a S/C'd s2k should be around mid to low 13's...

13 flat is possible...check out s2ki I think there are some times up there. If the rearend were strengthened I'm sure you could run in the 12's

Well if they are trying to launch at a high RPM then I am not surprised. With a supercharger you would want to launch it a little lower. Let the power come in kind of gradually with the supercharger.

I think it comes to down to the tires. I'm stock and the 225 s-02's launch fine for me, but I can tell they're about to let go (as they do occasionally). throwing a supercharger on that would get me in trouble. I'd say a new clutch, rear end and some 245 slicks and you could be in the 12's.

13.8 could of been his shittiest of all runs all day, 2.8 60 ft missing 3rd and 4th, with nitrous and a supercharger there is no way that car, even if launched extremely shitty will only run a 13.8 granted that he did use nos too.

Easily...but rearends are hard to build for this car. I've asked the question several times on how to build up the rearend and it costs major $$$. Wish Honda would strengthen the stock rearend for 04...

Definitely, it's one of a few reasons why I'm spending the bucks making my civic a mad machine of SPEEEEDSSS instead of my s2k, parts just aren't as previlent. I'm sure after a while someone will give us a nice cost effective rear.

Yeah...I've heard that you can actually install the rx7 rearend in an S2000 (with fabrication of course). As far as the fender flare...I love em...that's why this car is so sexy.
