i am looking into getting a new head gasket made for low CR, i figured like an aftermarket gasket at like .030 or i hear a y8 head gasket can have a layer removed to make like .023 or something, is that true? will the little difference in cr from 9.13 with the .037 gasket to the 9.36 with .025 gasket, actually make a difference that will be felt? and does anyone know the equation for figuring CRs to HP gains? the generic one.

FYI the engine is a z6 stock with comp cam in a z6 head.
