I bought a 1990 CRX but I just realized the hood wont close. How can I fix this? Would it need to be realigned? My driver side door lock will not lock. Weather I lock it from the inside or outside, the lock thing locks but the door is still openable. I'm guessing I would need to open the panel? I just dont know what to look for. TIA!

 

Regarding the hood you might want to check the rubber grommets that you turn to make it either close tighter or looser (is that a word?) and regarding the lock, I'm guessing someone tried breaking into to it cause its from Queens LOL. I'll be more than welcome to come by and help you out, plus we can swap parts at the same time.

 

as for the drivers side door...both of my crx's have been like that. the only way to lock the drivers side door is fromthe outside with the key.

 

Umm I dont know if you know this or not but for most Hondas you have to lift the handle before you push the lock button or it wont lock. It becomes a force of habit after a little while. You get used to it. Like me today who accidentally locked his keys inside of his car because I set the lock and the wind blew the door closed.

both of my crx's have had alarms on them with remote locks, so after i killed the alarm i just got used to locking it form the outside, it also prevents me from locking the keys in the car.
