was just talking to my friend and he mentioned to me that my car's suspension is a lot softer compare when my car was brand new. my R is 2 years old now with 18k km on it, does shock gets softer after a period time ? or is there something wrong with it

It is typical for a shock to loose some 30% plus of it's resistance over it's life. As I understand it they have a big falloff from new and then steadily wear from there.
Some people suggest that the main use for adjustable shocks is to compensate for wear over the life of the shock. I run Bilstein which aren't adjustable but claim to have minimal wear due to the design.

If you've changed tires, the tires could have softer sidewalls than the RE010's. And then there's tire pressures to consider.
I doubt there is anything wrong with your stock shocks with only 18K of street driving.
I'm at 100K and still using stock suspension.
