Default 96 Prelude S bought cheap with low miles.

I know the engine is a F22A1, would a H22 mount up fine, or am I looking at purchasing a mount kit? Anyone on here try this? Anyone know a better engine to try? Sorry for the n00b question and thanks for your time.

direct swap. there is no better engine for the lude that's worth the trouble of swapping in.

Okay found this great site that lists model numbers and such.

http://www.geocities.com/honda...s.htm

Would it be just as simple to put in say an H22A from a new Prelude like a 99-01. Or an H22A from a Type S JDM? I would rather pay extra and have the newer engine of course. I just want to make sure hoses, wires, sensors match up for the most part.

Once again, thanks for anyones help.
