Default RThinking of moving to the Integra camp, have some????

I may be about to purchase a 1993 Teal Green Integra GSR with 130K. Yes I know the infamous blacksheep B17. Is there anything to be aware of about these integs?? I've always loved the DA body style(after a little work). Any manufacture flaws, motor flaws, suspension flaws?? Also is there a way to convert from cable to hydro tranny setup?? I know you can go the other way but I've never seen nor heard the cable to hydro. Oh what about insurance for this car. I'm coming from a 1993 Del Sol Si to the Integ will it be the same or higher??

if you get a 4dr, insurance is cheaper. They will probabily stick it to you for a gst though.

In terms of relaibility, the b17 is good, and very modifiable. slap in some CTR or P30 pistons, some R cams and call it a day.

keep the cable tranny, they are cheaper to replace, and there are also YS1 cable LSD trannys kicking around. I had one. it was sweeeeet.

If however you do want to swap your tranny out for some shorter gears, a 1st gen (cable) b16a tranny is the way to go.
