i was doing a header install, had all my tools in the car, was waiting till monday to buy some bolts to finish the job, the header was unscrewed pretty loose, left to see movie w/ gf at 10, come back at 12:30, car is gone.. call the cops, they are useless as ever, told them i "might" have low jack from previous owner (since the alarm is low jack, but not sure if it's activated /fee paid) )

they're like "we'll get back to you"

what pisses me off is i live in an EXTREMELY (well not anymore) safe neighborhood, there's an 2002 rsx parked next to me ALL SUPPED UP, and there's a 350z, in the same parking lot, what's more is that there's a lamberguini parked a few blocks down, why MY piece of **** 97 teg i don't know... i want to kill someone...

so what's likely to happen? anyone?

but taking a 97 integra is like stealing candy from a baby. the other cars you mention are far tougher to steal and there is no black market for those cars as of yet.

i hope they recover your car as close to one piece as possible.

dude, im really sorry to hear this. it seems like these threads are posted at least one a day, it sucks. thieves blow ***, i mean if i saw one, you know just from like bullshitting at a party and he accidentally said he steals cars(alot of liquor makes ppl. say things they shouldnt)i would literally kill him. it hurts to see this kind of ****.

if you catch someone stealing your car is it okay to sneek up on them and wack them in the head with a baseball bat? or headshot them with a knife? can they press charges against you? cuz if they can thats really stupid.

 

yup. Unfortunatly it's a lot easier to steal a Honda than a more expensive car like a mercedes or something. Newer (more expensive) cars have very safsiticated alar msystems on them making them harder to steal. Besides, car thefts are more likely to happen in nice neighborhoods than crapyp ones. I mean you really think they're gonna find a car to steal in a crappy neighborhood?

**** man, i seriosly get pissed everytime i see a post about this. i try to ignore it and not read it because it will just **** me off more, but i cant help and read. i cant wait until i park my car at school one day then at the end of the day to go home it not be there anymore. idk what i would do, i dont have insurance, its only a 94 LS, but it has maaad money dropped into it, money that even if i did have insuranc ei wont get back. this is why once i sell my car im done dumping money into a car, its just not worth it. im just gona buy a nice new car maybe get wheels, lower, thats it. anyway, sorry to get off track, i dont know what u had done to your car, or if u had thieft insurance, but either way, that sux man, seriosly

 

actually i'm kinda screwed cuz i only have liability, the car is completely stock, but i'm not getting any money back from the insurance company, it's been 1 day since it happend, cops are still "hard at work", i just pray to god it hasn't been striped for parts, cuz then i'm basically down about 9k which is roughly what the car was worth, really pisses me off how in a blink of an eye they can rob you blind like that, i swear it was about 2 and a half hour time gap, had i only left town like i planned to and not decided to do the install, i'd still have my car...
