What kind of alarm on your ITR?
I need to get an alarm for my ITR and I would like to have a battery back up siren, maybe two of them (one outside and one inside). Also I would like to have keyless entry and also maybe have the windows controlled. I was looking at clifford but have no idea what type to get. Also the dealer I bought the car from said some alarms with f' up the electronics in the car??? Anybody heard of this?

I'm very happy with my viper....600 esp w/ battery backup, extra siren and paging system....I think that the install is more important than the actual alarm itself though.....make sure you go to a reputable shop for your install.

forget the dealer - go with a reputable shop that has bonded employees. avoid shops that have high staff turnover and bargain basement install prices.
in atlanta, no one ever pays attention to alarms going off anymore. It's best that you decide to get a paging system.
For me, I'll get a base model alarm that will just ward off potential vandalists in our area. I also will be purchasing the auto-lock. If that doesn't work I would have to resort to using the semi-automatic H&K MP5 sub-machine gun with two bannana clip held together for a total of 60 rounds? if that doesn't do, then I'll just give the guys the keys.

Here in AZ I go to a very reputable shop called Soundwerks....all of their techs really know whats up....they have been in the business for a long time and do mostly custom and specialty work.
Mark, Soundworks seems to do a great job. I always hear people from AZ saying how good they are. I have an alarm already but need some audio stuff done, probably will go talk to them first.
As for alarms, I have a Code 2100 with a hood pin to trigger the alarm. Good system and only costed $250 installed. Install was done by ABT in Chicago. Dan (godspeed motorsports) recommended them and they did a great job. Quick and professional.
I would just get a good alarm with motion sensor, hood pin, and have it installed by someone who is known to do good work.

I've got a viper800esp with hoodpin/hoodlock, backup battery, trunkpin. i opted for no radar sensor since it's kinda annoying. i do want a glass break audio sensor though . . . i work at tweeter in texas, and i know we do good installs. i used to work at circuit city, and i know they carry viper stuff and can do pretty competent installs.
Clifford G4 and a 9mm Glock 26 under the seat.
Love em' both!
You can program the G4 system from your laptop instead of doing it all through
the coded valet.
P.S.
Just how many *** penny's have you distributed??

I got my GSR alarm installed at circuit city, and besides them leaving about 5 tools in the car and engine bay, the job was not to shabby. But it was the standard install, you know the brain right under the stearing colum, and right next to that is the valet button. That is why I want to install it myself, so I can place it weird places that the standard person does not look.

Some generic Crimestopper alarm w/ the 2-way FM page on the keychain remote to annoy me every time someone touches my car. Sig Sauer P226, and for long-term parking, the Beverly Hills Cop Spec-R banana in the tailpipe

Glock .40 + conceal and carry permit + asp + 95 Yellow labrador+ 75 pound Mutt + me being 230 pounds and six two. My car is garaged and I am going to attend the police academy. I live with my parents and my dad is a Former army captain a lawyer and a former F.B.I. agent.
actually, we did an alarm install in a tricked out GSR. we put the alarm brain one of the rear quarter panels, ran the wires down the center of the vehicle (under the carpet of course), and used the coded valet. all the wires under dash were loomed and taped to look like factory. the trick install added another 150 for extending wires, removing seats, and pulling apart the panel. Not too bad, considering any thieves would have problems pulling all that stuff apart to get to the alarm. Also, it had backup battery and siren.
Damn slowerthanu you got all the angles coverd. You could just make somebody disapear and no one would ever know! LOL! But if they mess with your baby then they diserve to disapear!
