I see the on the driver door it says 1600 on the Vin Number Sticker..

But I need to know someone who has actually weigh a STD..

my 90 STD without me , without pass seat, and without rear seat and spare weighed 2040 pnds

 

if im not mistaken that is the max tow capacity. dont quote me on this but I think im right.

yea mines says 3100 GVWR or something.... forgot the last letter..... and its cold and i aint walking to my car now....
and i know my car isnt that heavy....
as a matter of fact i was arguing about it to my buddy that says his G2 integra 4Dr weights 3600.... LOL... anyways i know thats not vehicle weight as like other cars do say.....
i think thats weight capacity for the car... or towing for the car itself...

thats correct
GVWR = gross vehicle weight rating, which one should not load the vehicle over the given GVWR (mine happens to be 3165lbs)

 

take the load capacity and subtract it from the gross. i have corner weight scales at my work and a 91 std hatch i'll post it when i do it

 

stock weight for a 91 hatch std is suppose to be 2150.

i have one, but wanted an 89 due to the fact that they weight like 1960 or something around that.

heheh I have an 88 std and it weighs 2005 lbs with a B16, passenger seat, and a half tank of gas.

 

my 91 civic std with a b18cR and full interior weighs 2180 without me in it.

I feel fat now

 

I have a 88' DX hatch with a LS-Vtec in it and I know that when I took it to have it weighed I have full interior except no back seat. (And if any of you have ever taken out the back seat you know that it doesnt wieigh ****). Without driver it weighed in at 1986lbs. Thats with a B-series motor.

 

yea back seat is doesn't way much.
