Default exhaust help

I am a noob when it comes to the S2000 so I am curious to what people are running as far as exhaust's. I had a spoon N1 on my previous car and loved it so I was thinking on going that route again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the Spoon exhaust for the S2k is pretty good..gets rid of the dual exhaust, should give pretty decent gains because of the Y split its just one long pipe...

I saw another post that referenced this on here a while ago. Personally I am running a single outlet full titanium cat-back from JIC. The spoon is also a nice exhaust, I just don't dig the way the tip looks

Don't listen to people telling you how you won't get any gains yadda yadda yadda, its BS. I will tell you though not to expect anything big in terms of added power, just a couple extra horses. Heres the low down:

What you WONT get with an aftermarket exhaust:
- Huge power gains
What you WILL get with an aftermarket exhaust:
- A couple of extra ponies (I have seen the Amuse R1 make up to 8 but thats
REALLY stretching it and the car was already modified)
- Depending on the material and design of the exhaust, (single or dual, SuS or
Ti) you'll probably see a weight savings. My exhaust weighs ~7 lbs while the
stocker is ~50 lbs.
- In many cases you will improve throttle response.
- A sporty exhaust note (in some cases a racy exhaust note ).

Was it worth the money for me for the 40+ lb weight savings, improved throtle response, couple of horses and a sweet sound? Hell yea

If you're lookin, some exhausts to check out:

J's Racing (SuS)
JIC (they have full Ti, SuS with Ti muffler, and full SuS models)
Amuse (Ti)
Spoon (SuS)
Veilside (Ti)
Top Secret (Ti)

Thank you all for the response. I had an R as my last car and it seemed everything I did improved it even more than the previous mod so I know that the S is much different in that aspect so I will just wait and see. Again thanks for hooking a noobie up.

I have the Tanabe racing medallion also, and he's right. It's super loud, but I like it. Nice and deep til VTEC when it starts screaming. People say it sounds like an F1 car.
