does anyone know if the whole dash needs to be replaced after the airbags have gone off? there is no damage to the dash just to the parts over the airbags. but that part is part of the airbag and comes with the airbag when you buy a new one. anyone know anything about this? i am tryin to keep my car from being totaled and that dash is 650 bucks or something that i might not need. thanks for the help

But you really dont need to replace the dash. Get a helms manual out and replace the SRS system. Easy once you have the proper instructions and tools. Might as well the CDM or JDM passenger air bag tray.

I'm sure you can put everything back together without the airbags. But here in VA, you won't pass inspection....I don't know what your local laws say.

 

i would like to have the air bags back in there they worked for me so i think i will keep them in there.
