Trying to cram the entire garage into the car...
I'm in the process of loading as much as possible into the back of my 90 CRX right now for tomorrow's auto-x (although I'm sure many people here probably put about twice as much stuff as I'm trying to); this includes a set of 225/50/13 Hoosiers, toolbox, jack, air tank, chairs, and a small cooler. The rear is completely gone (including spare tire, plastic cover, rear divider).
Well, everything doesn't fit in like I originally planned, so I was wondering if any body has some pictures of how they fit all their crap into the back of their car (preferably a CRX, so I can get some ideas). Right now everything is in there, but I see it flying around and hitting stuff, so I'm thinking there has to be a better way.

with no rear interior, it should be easy. the tires i put right over the gas tank behind the seats positioned upright oriented as they would be mounted to the car. theres plent of space now behind the tires and abovethe spare tire for several toolboxes. i put the jack and jackstands either in the spare tire area, or if its a small one, just one the sides of the tires. i put the air tank up front in the passenger wheel well, hopefully so i see it and remember to fill it up on the way.... not always the case. anyway. good luck.
One tip if you haven't already done it - pull out the spare tire and cargo floor cover. Wheels can go in that well, probably three of them sitting on their treads.
I built a small "rack" for my tires to fit in the back of my 1st gen CRXs.

It is made of 2X2s, and I strap the tires together with a binder. Makes for efficient space utilization, and it protects against squashing the rear cubby.
Although I didn't use the above mentioned rack for my tires, I was able to fit everything it the following picture (including SWMBOed!) in the back of my '85 for a 17 hour drive to Ft. Meyers, a couple of years ago...
