I have seen on some pics that somone is selling amber corners for the 88-91 hatch and crx.... anyone know where

 

get a set of cheap ebay clears and goto michaels arts & crafts and get teh krylon orange staind glass paint and make your own cheaper then paying for some vision knockoffs

i don't think the vision 88-91 civic corners fit the crx. call mid-atlantic @ 410-918-0928. I don't think the shop is open right now, but give it a try and just leave a message.

 

For the people that paint them - How do you prep them? I didn't want to scuff mine up because I didn't want them to look scratched after I painted them, so I just sprayed them twice and they faded a lot and look crappy after.

I wish someone would just make some ambers for 91 hatches so I wouldn't have to deal with faded look.

Hey man, are those the 90-91, or the 88-89 (cant quite tell). Cause they say the 90-91 are for jdm cars, and only have the one bulb. But is dosent say if the 88-89 are 1 or 2 bulb.
Does anyone have the 88-89 ones from this site, are they 1 or 2 bulb? Thanks

 

Theyre the 90-91's for my crx. They say its "JDM Style" because its only 1 bulb per corner (like in japan) The left over bulb (the one that signals) is supposed to be wired up to sidemarkers. I have then just hanging inside the fender right now until my sidemarkers come in. So to clear it up, it does fit USDM cars.

 

Hmmm.... OK, thanks. I just dont have plans to get side markers, and I dont want the bulbs just hanging out in the fenders. But I am sick of the stupid lens paint fading. Mine is yellow right now, and I have to paint it like every 3-4 months.

For those who asked earlier about prep, I just cleaned the surface really good, and did lots of light coats. It looks great at first. Ryan

PS, I use Krylon stained glass paint.

 

yea, the lights are no biggy, you can just take out the bulbs (or leave them in) and just zip tie it to the other bulb's wiring, wont hurt anything. Theyre pretty good quality, they fit perfect and are real clear.

 

just paint your oem ones instead of buying the cheap ones that'll leak water on ebay.

 

I have the clear JDM ones and they look just like those without the orange. Except these ones must be for a different front end because they don't fit exactly. I kinda forced them into place and they look pretty good though.

Yes, but read my post, the paint only last a few months before they turn yellow. Ryan
