B16a vibration issue, mounts with stock bushings?
I know that the urethane bushings help stiffen the car. But as a daily driver, I'm not a big fan of the vibration. What do you think of a motor mount kit that uses stock honda/acura bushings? Is there one out there already?
I am also using the first gen place racing mounts and have no front mount. Has anyone felt the difference from the ealry 3 mount kits and the 4 mount kts?

DITo bro.
I'm on the same boat. I really want to go with a Bseries motor but i hate having a lot of viberation in the cabin bay. I make a post about this like 2 months ago and no one really knew if I could with out the HAsport bushing with OEM bushings.

I dont think the swap can be done with various stock mounts. But if a hasport set could be fitted with stock bushings, that would work for me.
the original hcp mounts were just adapter plates for the factoy mounts. might want to lookat those and maybe improve on the design,
Hello I just wanted to say why dont you look at a set of SIR mounts. They came stock with a B16a in them and that would be the way to go if thats what your looking for. Also I just wanted to sayt that I have a set of hcp mounts not the adapters but the actual mounts that have the eurathane mounts inside of them. They are about 2 years old now and they dont vibrate near as bad as they use to. They use to vibrate my whole dash but they havent done it in a while. You may look into a set of used mounts. Just my opinion though. Please no one critisize me because of the way I think. LOL.

NO....this is not the case. the problem is most of the "bolt in" kits use a solid type mount because that is the only way that they can build it. i remember some kit the consisted of adapter plates that used OEM mounts but i can't recall who or where. the vibration situation is not because of "the stronger motor" it is because of the mounts. I have personally ridden in CRVRX's B20/VTEC JRSC'd CRX HF and it feels like any stock honda at idle (and he dynoed at 282HP--strong enough?) he, however is the owner of LHT Performance and the way the he installs B-motors is by custom fabricating adapter brackets to utilize stock honda mounts. he fits these to each car as he does it and no he doesn't sell them separately..only on his installs.
BTW the CRXs that came with a B16 (SiR) have different mount points on the body so you can't just use those mounts.

That kit was the HCP adaptors. They dont sell them anymore. You will have to buy used ones.
