5pm - Show up at pop's stealership to barter the use of his lift and impact t00lz with beer and a sandwich. 5:30, start wrenching....

8:30pm - New tranny and alternator in the lunchbox (pics of disintegrated diff up shortly) and the car is running on the lift and have all 5 gears and fluid is retaining itself in the bellhousing.

9:30pm - After grabbing a snack, arrive at slummit to crew for the 12-hr. I missed registration had to pay $25 for a 'refundable' ticket

1 of the team's cars, a hatchcrapper that hasnt seen any track time yet is all fugged up - bad calipers, rotors, broken seat mount, broken trailing arm bolt that would have torn the arm off (similar to how mine broke) if we didnt catch it, fuel leak, etc....

4am - I'm home now... and had too much red bull to sleep. Just going to have a snack and shower and leave for slummit by about 7am, grab some breakfast before our crew meeting at 8:30 at which point i'm sure there will be stuff to finish up on the car.
