I was wondering what cam to go with on a d16y8. I want to build a pretty quick y8, nothing to quick. I just want the people out where I live to know that there are other honda engines besides the b16a. Thats all that they know of. My car is quick enough to hold my own against a crx with a b16. I just want to be able to leave his at the light. So if anyone has built a fast *** single cam y8 let me know what you did please. Thanks

 

building one as we speak. we are keeping this EK project a budget build up for the common y8 owners.

should have some dyno numbers in June for our cam comparison test.

 

I'd be interested in seeing this. I want a cam for the y8 that still idles decent since my rex is a daily driver for now.
