13's easy......with traction low 13's...without...high 13's

If you run a 14 ET with an EG hatch and ITR motor....something is wrong

Man, do you even own or ever driven a type r swapped hatch?? I own a Si with a JDM 97 type r swap with 98 JDM spec tranny and I dont believe I would break into the 13's. Granted I have AC and full interior, but I also have mods. My car is quick, but I dont think its 13's material. Get your facts straight before you answer.

It would be tough to get into 13's with just the motor. I guess it is possible tho with slicks.

si's are piggy's

i if you are running a GOOD motor with proper installation and proper stock engine management with decent traction, the B18C5 will give you consistant 13's provided that you are a halfass decent driver

High 13's all day long with a strong motor in a cx or like chassis. Rubbers are the key.

B18C5-EH2 runs a low 13 in his w/ just bolt-ons. I think his best was a 13.3 before a part broke when racing a EH/H22, which he would have beat!

I think he still has a link in his signature with the whole story.

Its possible to get high 13's out of a full interior SI hatch w/an ITR motor and street tires (Stock motor with nothing more then bolt-ons that is).

the jackass who actually said 12's needs to stop watching movies and dreaming of being Paul Walker. That is WAY far fetched. We are talking high 13's on a stock motor. good tires and nice suspension, possible mid 13's, but that is going to have to be a hell-of-a 60'.

i dunno, although it's not very probable, it is possible....there was a persone on HT before than ran a 12.8 in a gutted hatch with a B18c1 motor, IHE, on slicks

it would be possible to hit the 12 second realm with a gutted hatch, bolt ons, a badass driver, sea level elevation (like houston), and some badass tuning via aftermarket engine management with sticky slicks....once again, engine condition comes into play.....do you have a dud, a norm, or a freak engine

BTW, i cant wait to see 2fast2furious....it's gonna be OfF ThE HoOk y0! they upped the amp with a former blackhawk skyline gone ApC and altezzas galore, really high budget film

(in case you are close minded, i was being sarastic)

lol
14.1 with 2.4 60'ers 1/8 @ 80 mph
nothing was TERRIBLY wrong, just not good launches
itr in eg....well an si high 13's if you know how to drive it. i should be pulling 13.9 or better once i figure it all out

on the other hand.....a mod here had 13.3 on drag radials in his cx with intake header and exhaust with a chipped ecu

essentially the STRIPPED 2000 lb cx could of hit 12.9 according to his educated guesswork

When i said SI, I mean a 93 SI. It has full interior, with spare, tools, and AC. All beit has a carbon fiber hood but that doesnt help much. Im running Spoon header, Spoon exhaust, AEM CAI, Spoon flywheel, and exedy clutch and I still dont believe its in the 13's. Rubber is Dunlop SP 9000, but even with nice rubber still not good enough to go 13's. This is all speculation though, because I have never driven at the track with it. I can tell u it whoops Mustang GT's and is prolly just about as fast as the new Camaros with LS1's.

I ran a 14.01 with a ~150whp GSR swap in a 92 Si on street tires.

15-25 more whp from an ITR swap will easily get you into mid 13s.

Learn to drive.

Some of ya'll need to quit bench racing.

If you have no idea about what you're talking about, don't post up a damn thing.
