Default Aftermath of the NC. Dyno Weekend

Well first off many thanks to Will and Robert <forgot their H/T SN's> for opening up their home for all us this past weekend it was very fun and great to meet everyone....<WHERE THE HELL WERE U BOBA!!!!>

Well Ken <BlackR> Pat <TightSI> and I were on our way home and about half way home my car begins to miss fire, the car shuts off <while in traffic goin 75+> put the hazards on and off to the emergency lanes...well all the plugs and everything seemed good <dist., coil, plugs and wires etc.> so I change out the plugs, car runs good....15-30 min. later, the car does the same thing, pull over check everything, everything is good <BTW trying to figure out what's wrong w/ your and trying to avoid getting run over sucks>, well the car sits and less than 5 minutes she cranks back up and I exit to meet up w/ Ken and Patrick...check everything again, Ken suggests that i take the dist. cap off <good thinking, Y did I not think of that, I don't know>, open her up and viola...the rotor button is completely wasted, Y? do you ask?...b/c the little iddy bitty philips head came loose and did a number on the rotor button...so Pat takes me to the nearest autozone, Ken stays behind to relax w/ the Yocal Red neck Hangout at the Texaco, come back, wrong Rotor, Y? do you ask again, b/c yocal folks thought i said 90 not 98...DUR!!!!, so back we go to the Advance auto parts store and guess what...the rotor needs to be ordered and will be here in the morning?...I was like "HELLZ NAW"....so off to a AutoZone, finally get there b/c yocal rice were wanting a piece of the SI and got "broken off some" so we get the rotor and back to meet up w/ Ken...on the way back, Pat's car makes a very disturbing noise and car shuts off...man can our luck get any worse...well the car is stopped at a 4 way intersection and the car does not turn over, w/ the help of the very kind and helpful yocal "jesus people" we pushed the car into a used car lot, so we call up ken and of course was like "your joking right?" and asked him to bring over my spark plug socket and 3/8's drive, Ken shows up and I procide to take out cyl. #1, and the plug is mysteriously tight...out comes the plug and GOOD GOD!!!, the prong and the electrode were melted/caved in...my guess is that the excitement from the dyno time and festivities of the day before caused Pat to mishift earlier the day before, and may have dropped a valve....so on in all we left NC at approx. 12PM and didn't get home till around 12AM...sigh...well the weekend was still fun and will continue when NaPi Nat's rolls here...

WHERE THE HELL WERE U BOBA!!!!
I was involved in an accident on Friday afternoon at around 1pm on my bike. The bike is totaled and i'm sore as hell. The lady rearended me while i was sitting at a stop light. She told the officer that she hit me going about 35 mph, i never saw her coming. I got knocked off the bike into the median. I have a bruises and scraps all along my legs and back. I have to go to the doctor this afternoon to follow up on my shoulder. So thats where I was, in a freaking hospital. I would like to say im sorry to Ken about the whole situation, wish I could have made it there.

Damn...no ****!!! I was rear-ended at a stop sign on Friday too at 12:30-1:00PM. Damnn... at least I was my SUV and not the R( or bike for that matter). Sorry to hear about your accident....damnnn, as much as I want a bike, I just don't trust fellow drivers that much while I am so vulnerable.

TurboPrick-

Until now, I thought I may have been a tad harsh on you, but you are a pure *******. Thanks for verifying your character to everyone The guy was in an accident, and you're slamming him?! All I have to say is what goes around comes around.

Boba-

Real sorry to hear about the accident, but glad to hear you're semi-okay. Hope you're back to normal, uh, as normal a Star Wars freak can be, soon

Mods-

Sorry about the profanity, but I'm sick of this guy's (TurboR616) attitude. Someone who is very loyal to the board was in a serious accident, yet all this guy can do is slam him. Again, sorry for the profanity, but I could not let that go.

Damn Eric & Patrick!

Well... at least its fixed now. Wish we would have looked at Pat's car before you headed out. Everything alright now?? Patrick had time to pop the head open and check things? Chris, Pat, & I cruised until Pat split off from us and then Chris & I floated home at about 95+ What van that Chris cut off???

Boba... that sux about the accident. All wkend we were like... damn! No GT3! Where's Boba? Then, Jason had to call and ask permission (hehehe) to buy a ps2 and GT3. We played that for a lil while and ended up watching laps of VIR... very cool.

For all those others that didnt go... you missed some bad *** karting!!! Anyone else's neck still sore from the g's????

Pete

Boba - Sorry to hear about the accident, buddy! We were starting to get worried, but no one knew how to get in touch with you. Let the healing begin!

Yah, I was the driving force behind GarthVadeR's purchase of the PS2. Seems that somehow, my phone just happened to dial Tammy's number. So I made Jason beg and plead until she approved the transaction. Then we bumped the VX on down to Wally World (Jack - I love that car!!).

Thanks again to the Harris boys and Robert for the hospitality. Good times were had by all!!

Eric, Patrick - Best of luck getting y'all's cars back up and on the road

Pest - Your car is stupid fast. I was especially amazed after you and Chris did the pull - and he told me you were in fourth...

*sighs*

Man, the weekend from hell...

Because friday was the 13th?

I was expecting to blow up something at that point... It almost seemed like I was next in line > Eric > Patrick > ME?

Well, I made it home with numerous stop light idle-shut off's and I dunno about my first impressions of the B's... I need a header bad. Now seriously considering not going to CA... Money is tight (things always cost more than you thought), and I won't be able to get a header until after the expo...

Boba - I was afraid you were in some kind of an accident or something...
Chiropractor is your friend. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I think I need to remember that in the end, it's just a car, bike, block, header, etc... And I'm glad to be at work right now...? Crazy, but I never thought I'd WANT a weekend to be over and behind me before...

ERIC~ Sorry to hear about your troubles on the way home.. I hope you guys get everything running ok again.

BOBA~ Man, I think we were all a little worried about you.. We didn't know what happened, but I'm glad to hear you are ok, and I hope your recovery goes well.. I thought maybe you decided to just keep your identity hidden or something.. heh..heh. Always sorry to hear about another fellow biker beaten down by the ignorant, non-driving, idiots who think they own the roads. I hope luck is with you in getting re-imbursed for your losses.

I'm glad you all were able to make it this weekend, and I enjoyed meeting all of you. I had a blast, and I look forward to seeing you guys again some time.

Hey Boba was it the 929 that got totaled, man I am sorry to hear about that, I try to keep out of the city as much as poissible when on the bikes, but crap happens, good to hear you didnt get totaled also, the bike can be replaced, speaking of the bike, is the Nitrous system still working? I may be interested in buying it from you if your want to sell it? since it would be going on my 929 it would be an easy swap....in theroy Anyway hope you get feeling better.

Thanks everyone for the concern. Just got off the phone with insurance company and the bike is offically totaled. I can buy it back for 200 dollars. Not even worth it in my opionion. The rear wheel was touching the gas tank. Broke the frame in 4 pieces. Damn SUV's!

Well anyway I should be better in a couple of weeks and hope to meet up with everyone possibly up here next time.
