~500 for US and Canada. From the old ITRCA registry, it looked like the 1st 380 or so went to the US, and the remaining ~120 went to Canada, but I remember seeing a #500ish '97 R as being from the US. Maybe a few at the end of the production run were sent to US. There is also a cert. of authenticiy floating around here from Ed (zyg) I think that said only like 314 were sent to the US.
