A6 and B2 the same block?

A6 and B2 the same block?

i was just wondering if the blocks are identical, besides of course the rotating assembly.

u mean the d16a6 and d15b2? d16= 1.6 liter d15= 1.5 liter

not the same

the displacement difference is due to stroke and rod length. I mean just the bare block.

The crank bearings are smaller in the 1.5...

So you could't put Si/Z6/Y8 internals in a D15 ?

Not that I know of, Now if you wanted to spend a lot of time on shims and clearances you could put 1.5 guts into a 1.6, But it may be pointless. Then again, What do I know hahaha.
