I'm planning on buying rims real soon.....like maybe sometime this week!.....but deciding on whether not i should get Advan RG's(Gold) or Volk TE37's(Bronze).....i hear they weigh about the same....which would be 13lbs.....and i'm not sure if i should get 16's or 17's......i personally like 16's....b/c they are lighter....but will they look too small???

And if you have any pics of those rims on an RSX could you please post them!
And tell me the sizes on them......thanks!

NO 17s. They will totally kill preformance. But I can tell you aren't very perfomance minded seeing as how you are "slammed"

 

What color's your RSX? All depends on the color of the car. Remember, the Advans are much lighter in color and have that blue ring going around the inside of the lip(i know cause i had a set) and the Volks are darker with more of a 'shiny' lip. Also, if the cars slammed, i'd go with 17's..i think 16's will still look too small. Aren't stock RSX rims 16's anyway? So you know now what 16's will look like on your car.

The color of my RSX is the pearl white.....i think gold would look nice!

my car being slammed?....does that slow me down?....and yes...i am performance minded!...just also want to make my car look clean as well!

i called a place that has the Advan RG's....and they said it would take 6 weeks to get them....y so long?....is it because they are getting them straight from japan?...anyone else know where i can get them faster?....or maybe even a better price than....$1480?

I have aftermarket 16's and I think they look fine. I'd rather have lighter wheels anyways, makes the car a tad bit more enjoyable to drive.

Call up Fizz Autosports. They had a set of RG's in a couple weeks ago. Their # is: 718-631-4001. They can get any set of JDM rims for you. Definitely give em a call

Yeah that's why they put 17's on the dc5-r. But I can tell you aren't very performance minded seeing as how you drive a '72 Chevelle

Yes 17" are great. I have centerline rpms 17" and they are awesome hella light too. even my 19" centerlines rpms are only 15 lbs.

I don't mean to bust ya'lls bubbles....but.....i found a GREAT deal w/ these TE37 in 17 (bronze!)......but i apprieciate all of ya'll opinion...i'm am very happy w/ them....i will try to post some pics of it soon!....sorry to dissapoint all of you that wanted me to get advan's.....but you don't come across a deal like this everyday!
