Not sure for '94... You either need to do it 9k ago or 39k ago.

So you may as well do it now.

I spent 400$ for timing belts/water pump today. How do I know if there's a leak for timing belts? I llooked underneath the car and saw a little puddle of oil. Is that normal? hit me up guyz

there should be no oil at all, the belt is all external. are you sure it was oil? maybe the waterpump seal got f-ed up and is leaking. Spending that much, take it back and make them fix it.

They may have disturbed an oil seal for the crankshaft, camshaft, or a balance shaft. Not really part of a timing belt change, but they're in the same general area.

Some Accords (not sure of the details) have a recall for a balance shaft seal, but maybe yours was done a while ago?

Keep an eye out for leaking. Maybe it was just left over from when they took off the valve cover. If so, it won't keep dripping.

I don't remember mine being louder when I put on a new belt, but that was the Integra. I haven't changed the Accord belt yet. Maybe its the outside drive belts (alternator, etc) being tighter? Take a look to make sure your timing covers are on straight, not rubbing.

your belt is lounder now because they tightened it a little too tight , we in the industry call that belt singing. it might go away in a while but make sure some stupid kid didnt do it and tightened it like an accessory belt because you are have to have more slack on a t belt
