Default Door Handle and Window Control Panel Trouble Getting Off

I have a 1990 Honda Accord EX, with power door locks and windows. Now I unscrewed all the screws pertaining to the door panel, but for some reason I can't get the thing where the door handle and window actuator are, off. Is there a trick I'm missing?

I'm trying to get the door panel off...

I think there is a screw in the plastic part. Pull on door handle (like you would to open door) and look for a screw head. Pull screw out and slide plastic piece over handle.

If you're talking about the one that is in the panel, then I already got that one. The panel will just not come off

Ok. After all the screws are out, the door panel is still held in with clips all along the edge of door panel. There is a tool to release these clips but if you are careful you can pop them out without any tools. Grab the bottom of door panel and pull a bit. You should be able to locate clip. Then pop it out with your hand or a screwdriver but be careful. After you get the first clip out continue around the edge of door panel to each clip. You will find quite a few. Find them 1 at a time and pop them suckers out. They are just plastic clips attached to the back of the door panel and pop into a hole in the door.

Those were already taken care of. Thanks though. I still can't figure out how to get the plastic piece that surrounds the door handle and window actuator, off.

Sorry I wasn't much help. That piece should pop off. Maybe try to pop out the window switch first, then remove plastic piece. That's all I can think of. Also pull open the door handle when you try to pop the piece out.

There is a lil plastic clip that holds a metal rod that allows the door to open.
Just pull the handle out a lil without breaking it & pop off the clip,BUT DONT LOSE OR BREAK IT.its easy.
Thats the only thing you need & the panel will come off.

Okay, i recently took my panel apart to insert new window
u said u have power options so here goes
1. Remove all tacks/screws
2. Pop out the Control for all ur power options and disconnect them
3. Remove door handle ( Just pull it from the left and right side, I used flathead screw driver to kinda pry it out... worked fine)
4. Remove the metal rod attached to the left side of the door handle...just push it up threw the hole its in
5. after all 4 screws are removed...(2 tacks, 2 screws) (1 screw is where door handle is the other is where the arm rest is. there is a thingy u pop up and unscrew that screw)
6. slowly start pulling on the bottom of the panel on both sides..u'll hear poping noises...meaning its coming out of the holes its connected to...
then for the top u have to pull and push up at the same time to pop it right out
its quiet simple if u need clearly directions let me know
