FS: EK Hatchback in Southern California--Must See!
Hey guys, i'm looking to get out of the import scene so I'm kinda forced into selling my pride an joy, a 97 Civic Hatch. Here is a brief rundown on what it has:
1997 Honda Civic Hatchback Dx
No P/S, No A/C
Manual Transmission
60,xxx miles on both chassis and engine.
I bought this car from the used car lot over at Longo Toyota. (El Monte)

Bone stock D16y7. No modifications done at all to the motor. Never raced, or ran past stock redline.
Interior
2000 Civic Si. Gauge cluster
Modified climate control (light up amber)
JDM CTR Shift boot
Spoon Duracon shift ****
2000 Honda CR-V AM/FM cassette deck (amber)
OEM Honda rear cargo cover
Exterior
PPG OEM Toyota Gunmetal Paint job.
2000 Civic Si Front end conversion. (hood, radiator support, fenders, grill, bumper, lip, and headlights)
2000 Civic HB OEM Stanley taillights
CTR replica folding mirrors (automatic, if you have the wires/plugs)
VIS Civic Type R Spoiler
Tornactive ABS Rear Civic Type R Lip
15x7 5zigen N1R BECKETTS on 205/50/15 Falken Azenis used for 800m.
Volk Racing Rays Duraluminum Lug Nuts.(Red)
H.I.D kit, retrofitted (H4) using ballasts and bulbs (4300k) from a Mercedes Benz S500.
Suspension
Eibach Sportline Springs
Neuspeed front upper strut bar (black, 4 point)
JSPEC.com rear pillar bar (4 point)
Comptech rear lower swaybar/tiebar combo (red)
This car would make an awesome project car, for anyone...all you really need to complete it would be a motor swap if you choose, and a nice set of coilovers. I wanted to take the car to a track and use it to it's maximum potential, but I don't have the time nor the money to do so. So my loss is your gain on this one guys. I would love to keep this car, as I personally know the condition that I keep it in every single day. The car has not been daily driven ever since it got the paint job. Always garaged as well.
Price is currently set at $9,000.
PM or post if interested, just attempting to field some offers. Thanks!
The few pictures that I have of the car:

I assume you are refering to the third picture? Actually, if you look, there is a big shadow on the rear quarter panel, making it looker darker than the rest of the car. Rest assured, the car is evenly painted.

Keep in mind guys, the price is OBO...so if you are genuinely interested in purchasing the car, the price is negotiable. Also, if you are interested and local (so. Cal) you can come check the car out for yourself, I guarantee you won't be dissapointed at the price after you check it out!

Thanks for the replies guys...yea, I think the price is very fair, considering it's a 97 with a clean title and only 60,xxx on the chassis. Most hatches that I see for sale have over 100k. Since this is a 97, it has the hatch release latch near the driver seat rail, unlike the 99-00 hatches! So you get the best of both worlds with this one, trunk release, and the look of the 99-00.
Have a nice day guys, someone has to want this car!
