Is there a special power steering fluid for Honda's?

 

Yup. Honda makes fluids for everything on your car. Many mechanics suggest only use original Honda fluids on all Hondas.

 

you will destroy your PS pump internals if you do not use the OEM Honda Fluid. Use it ... it's like $2.17 for a bottle.

 

I've sometimes seen stuff at KMart or WalMart that says "For Honda". But since genuine Honda stuff isn't too expensive, I just use the real thing.

My Saab takes synthetic PS fluid. That stuff's like $18/liter, so yours aint so bad.
