Been out for a few years by HCP. In one of our shop cars for almost 2 years now (YS1 GSR cable tranny on a B18B motor) and I've taken it to the track and it holds up just fine when launching on street tires. NEVER once has there ever been the dead pedal feel. PM or email me for more details if interested.

HondaTunning magazine(this month) has a how to on d16 and they show the company that helped them with the cable>hydro swap kit. they also have a hydro>cable kit out too. go to the mag store and just take a look it was easy read .15min tops
it seems like at jdm **** they only have the conversion mount for the tranny and not all the mounts needed to put the b16 in the eg

Because all that you really need is the passenger side mount. You can use stock Civic or Integra mounts & brackets on the driver side and on the rear of the transmission and rear crossmember, but unless you want to spend more for all complete replacement mounts, the passenger side is the only one that is really needed to make a cable tranny work in a hydro chassis.

so in order to swap my b16a (cable) into an eg all i need is one mount? the one for the tranny conversion?
i have some questions also. say in a few months i buy a buy a b18c short block to add displacment. do i need to get a hydpo tranny? or can i keep this one? do i also need a new mount?
i am not too familiar on how this works. please let me know

You can still use the same tranny.

With the exception of the B20A, blocks all the B-series blocks have the same transmision bolt holes, and driver-side bracket holes. This makes them totally interchangeable eith each other.
