Default Accord Timeslips

I just bought a '94 Accord Ex with a broken timing belt yesterday. It's very probable that the motor is trashed. I'm very new to the F/H series motors though.

I was wondering how fast the 5th Accords are. I remember seeing a H23 accord running 15s, not sure what else was done to it. I'm trying to decide whether to stick back a F22 and keep it as a daily driver or fork out some money for an H22 longblock (I can use the F22 tranny, correct?). Again, I'm very new to these motors. I could use this as a daily driver and throw the turbo kit into the Integra, or sell the integra and build up this car.

How much does the accord weigh? Close to 3,000lbs?

Yeah I'd like to know what the stock times would be for a 90-91 EX as well as a 94. Aren't there any sites that list stock 1/4 mile times?

H22 would be nice, but I'm a little short on cash at the moment. Anyone running a decent time with the F22b?

the key is weight reduction... a friend of mine here in AZ ran a 14.9 with his f22a6 before he swapped in the h motor.

also there is kentucky_accord, his is crazie stripped to the bone, i think it weighs like 2000lbs. his best is 13.9 i believe, all bolt-ons on the same f22a6
