Anyone paint there car flat black in here?
I did my interior with this:
That's about as flat as it gets, even less reflective than the ultra-flat.
Here's what it looks like:

Sorry for the big pics.

I wouldnt do it if you plan on putting a real paint job on. When you use a rattle can and decide to paint you will have to strip or sand off all the spray paint or else the new paint wont stick or it will lift and peel. So do it if you dont plan on puttin a nice paint job for a year or two.
yeah I did mine flat black, I really like it. Its starting to chip now after about 10 months, but not bad for under $20.
Heres another closer up pic of the paint.

But it it looks like a primer still out of a can. I paint cars on the side of what else i do , they make a flating aget to put in clear , You could spray your car with a Black epoxy primer DP 90 From PPG and use a flating agnet in the clear and it would be a normal paint job but dull.
I did my EG Hatch in flat black... I got a shitload of compliments here on H-T for it... let me know if you want an EG pic, cuz I know this is the EF section!
doesnt it fade in the sun?
my bro's ek needed a new hood and fender, and it came primered flat black. he didnt get it painted yet, and it's fading. its been 6 months. the hood looks like it is rusting too.

I'll admit that some of those cars look cool, however;
Don't use Rust-Oleum for anything that you plan on repainting at a latter date. It's a great product for things like lawn chairs, but what makes it good also can cause problems!!!!!
As I understand it (and it could just be an old wives tale) is that they use fish oil in in in order to give the rust preventive nature. This means that you WILL have problems with any automotive paint latter.
What may be a good option is to know that "flattening agent" can be added to any automotive paint. The more that you add, the "flatter" it gets. Just add a ton of it.

anyways some cars around here look tight with that flat black paint...
but any words on using a clear coat on them to make them look a lil better or protect it from the water??? like to make water run instead of just sit on the paint and dry there?

Here what I did on my fendder that were flat black before I sanded them all the way to put real paint on. I wet sanded the fenders on the flat black. Itmade iti smooth so water would run off it. It worked but still a waste of time since I had to sand them down for the real paint job

if you went ahead and shaved your mouldings, why don't you shave the middle taillight panel as well instead of just painting over it?
