Default AEM vs Comptech airbox plots with Spec B's

Testing both intakes this weekend. Interesting results!

Comptech is Green HP & Black TQ (blue filter and OE intake tube)
AEM is Red HP & Red TQ

Apologize for the size.

I will also be doing some timed highway runs of both intakes to see if the cold-air design has more merit in a real world setting. Just some food for thought!

How come the Ice Box have the extra few hundred of RPM on the top?

Both graph look almost the same, I am sure you won't feel the different with your butt dyno!!

I think I will just keep my AEM now!!

ITR-Animal~

Please see this post for the full details on my set-up. https://honda-tech.com/zeromodify?cm...post&id=375795

I may not, but it is worth a shot. My plan is to do a rolling 1st gear thru 4th gear pull. I will have a passenger measure the time of acceleration for me over the same course a few times for an average. Shift-time will come into play, but shouldn't be too much of a factor. If no difference can be detected, then so be it! There is just speculation that the true potential of the AEM may not be seen on the dyno with a large fan blowing on the car!

I hacked up my AEM this weekend made it an underhood air intake with a wall and a cold air tube leading to it. Throttle response is better and it seems to have more topend (I have the super twisty 90-93 Integra 2.5 inch intake.
