VTEC Controller +Turbo ??
Hi,
My friend has just finished installing a drag gen 3 onto his 96 spec JDM ITR.
He was previously using a Data System VTC82x.
Should he continue using this vtec controller or is it better not to change the vtec crossover point when running a turbo?

If you make more power and all with changing the VTEC point then change it.
I am not sure what the"Data System VTC82x" is, but a hondata with boost control is probably the best bet to go.

heres mine....its okay...don't really use it much any more...but its a good one touch system...I use it to disengage my vtec sometimes to troubleshoot.

On 900cc injectors im seeing about 220mi/350km to each tankof gas.

There is also that new Greddy Profec-e which is a boost controller, and if I'm not mistaken also has a Vtec controller....and a whole slew of other cool options as well....if you're not looking to spend anymore money on fuel management, it's a good way to go, just keep in mind that it won't do your fuel maps and timing, you'll still need to retain your current fuel controller....
