Is this headgasket supposed to have this many friggin unused holes?
Notice all the little unused/strange holes on the headgaskets.
A. A hole thats just out there, no hole in the head there but there seems to be one on the headgasket there.
B. Just alot of little holes outside of where the head was resurfaced. Not touching between the head and the block, just out there.
C. Two holes where it seems there should just be one larger one.
Edit : By the way, thats a D15B1 headgasket on a D15B2 head, I don't know if theres a difference or not.

i believe c is right.
b is the metal rings that keep the layers together.
a...there is no hole in the head on that side? do you have the HG on upside-down...i cant remember which way it goes. isnt the b2 the same head casting as the a6? i thought i remember more coolant holes in the head than that. for some reason i think that something looks funny...but i may be wrong.
see all the coolant holes in mine
