Anyway does anyone have any pics of this muffler on a DC2........I don't want anything loud like the N1. Did you gain any performance from this exhaust. Which B-pipe can i use with this muffler. Thanks

Sports Muffler Data (Civic Type R / Integra Type R)
Pipe Diameter (OD)
Spoon 60.5mm (2.38")
Stock 57.2mm (2.25")
Flow Rate
Spoon 124l/sec
Stock 112l/sec
Weight
Spoon 5.2kg (11.5lbs)
Stock 8.5kg (18.7lbs)
The numbers speak for themselves
Now compare to the Spoon N1 which has a flow rate of 139l/sec
Most standard aftermarket b-pipes such as Spoon, T1R, etc. should achieve a flow rate of close to 139.
You know the typical gains through a T1R and Spoon N1, so imagine how the Spoon Sports will do with lower flow numbers.
The Sports muffler is like the N1 and can be used with stock, T1R, Spoon, etc. b-pipes

Well I know you had some fitment issues when the N1 sittin left....I really don't feel like messin with it.....Does the Type 1 have the same problem?
The spoon n1 is loud for people who want comfortable cars, well most of us driver hype Rs therefore comfort is out of the question. I dont think my Spoon is loud, and i dont even have a resonator, 2.5inch piping straight to the muffler, (from a sms header) its louder than most other cars, but i like it, and if im not feeling it, throw the silencer in helps on the freeway A LOT

it does sound raspy, thats when you're driving on the street, but cruising on the freeway at around 80mph, there is no exhaust noise what so ever (at least for me)
But again on the streets, its raspy as a ****

That spoon street muffler is hardly worth it, especially being priced at like 600 dollars and outperforming the stock one by 1-2 hp at best. Id take the N1 over the street.

i always felt like that was true... silencers dosn't really make it quieter, just raspier... silencers
waist of money

Uhh No, I think Marc was referring to the "Sport" muffler not his "N-1"... Which if I remember was just a bit louder than stock.

i have experience with both...
the sport was a lil too restrictive for my setup, great sound tho
the N1 is making me go deaf...not all by itself but in conjunction with my other stuff

What's odd is I don't recall whether or not your car made a sound.
