i just picked up a can of this , looks like it will come out good, but i want to see if anyone has used this color and to include pics if you have. Its not the dupli color wheel paint, but says truck and van paint, but seems to be the same thing.

 

anyone ? i remeber seeing a type r with pewter painted wheels..

 

Edit- the truck/van paint in the smaller bottles???? I used that stuff on my girlfriend's Accord on the moldings....it's not as shiny,...the wheel paint is better

pewter as in Graphite maybe????? Duplicolor here....

no its not a small can, same size can as wheel paint, but i went to 3 different places and the only color they had in dupli-color wheel paint was the light silver, and i didnt really like it, so i found some dulpi color "pewter" truck and van paint, i wanna know what it looks like on wheels, i know someone had to use this before.

 

i may just return it and try some other places i didnt know sold it, but just saw on there website

 

heres the color that i got, sorry for using the pic todd00, ill take it down if u want, can i just rough them up with 400 grit sandpaper, then put a few coats on?

 

anyone wanna chime in with some experience?
