Ok heres the deal i'm going to be making really good money within the next 6-8 weeks and i have a d16 engine out of a 95 ex its vtec and every thing , my question is would it be better if i just took the money i was planing on using for a dual cam series and just put it all in to aftermarket parts for the d series? and what all could i buy with like $2000+? thanks.

 

you could sell the d16 and buy a b16 and work on that...........but that is just my opinion.......do what you want man its your money

 

i would personally go with the "dual cam series" motor

 

Go and buy the "B" engine........ sell your "d" engine........it's a lot easier if you just swap............

all right then what all do i need now for the swap so i can look and see how much more i'm going to need.
Engine (witch one?)
tranny (cable)
ECU (witch one?)
Wire Harness (Si 91?)
motor mounts
anything else?

 

You would need engine mounts.. Buy a 95 GSR engine. You should hit 14's with that stock. You could get a 92-95 P28 upgrade ecu and it should run freakin good. When you buy the engine it should come with the harness. So what ever you need you should ask from the seller they'll tell you what you'll need...
