i have a japanese crx front clip and i want to weld on to my car. how much it cost? they have ot cut out my old front clip rite? how long it usely take? and how much? and whats a good place to weld it? theirs no place around here where i live that knows how, they probably know but they do a crappy job.

 

well if you try to do it yourself and you have no welding experience you're better off having a body shop do it. i workat a body shop and minimum you're looking at 6-8 hours of labor depending on the shop. thats a lowball time cuz theres a lot to take off the car until you can cut out all the spot welds holding the front clip in

 

why do you want to weld it to your car? were you in a bad front in accident? or what the right hand drive?

if you are going to do it. find a shop that has done it before and it won't be cheap.

 

yeah, it won't be cheap but a place that knows what their doing will drill out the welds and weld the clip in and when all is said and done it *should* be good as factory.

 

find a place who can weld cages.. they are normally really good at welding..

 

are you talking about the FULL front clip, or the firewall?

i think it cost aroung $2g? some guy has a crx he did a rhd conversion i think he got his welde on, some guy from superstreet mag
