ok, just this weekend i replaced my rear brake pads since my rotor on the drivers side looks like the pad is not even touching the rotor. Its slightly rusted over since the pad is not makin enough contact.
after replacing the pads, it did not fix the problem, is there something i am missin or does anyone know what could possibly be wrong?????

maybe try bleeding the brake lines if you havent already.

Do you use your parking brake often? Using it will adjust the rear brakes. Go to an empty parking lot and backing up and brake really hard, this will also adjust the rear brakes. But clean up the parking brake mechanism with brake clerner first.

 

check the sliders, that is what happended to me, the two sliders ceased and I had to get them torched out and replaced with new ones. I was running only on 3 brakes for a little while, til i noticed it when i went to do a brake maintenance job.

 

yeah i use my ebrake all the time, but what are the sliders????
