non-type S Kseries owners? anyone using the Toda Camshaft kit yet?

 

I wasn't aware that TODA designed new cams for the K20A3 yet.

 

Ditto. I checked Toda's website but couldn't find anything besides the usual. Where did you find or hear this information from?

 

They do, got to http://www.jdmhondaparts.com and they sell the k series spec A's...

 

I believe these camshafts are designed for the K20A2 (Type-S). I'm not sure whether the heads for the K20A2 and the K20A3 are the same, though. Common sense leads me to want to think that the valvetrain in the K20A2 is stronger than the K20A3.

Hopefully, someone can prove me wrong though, since I have a K20A3 and want to believe they are interchangable.

 

Don't always go by jdmhondaparts, they orginally had listed spec a, b and c's for the k-series when only the spec A's have been developed. Check out ephatch.com regarding the k20A2 cams.

 

Im new to the K series game here guys. but our source for TODA stuff from out of the country said the K20A3 is already out... but it could have been mis communication so i'll try to get more info on this.

I am also very interested. Please let us know what you find out. As far as I know, there are only versions available for the A2.

 

Toda only make cams for the A2, and will not work in the A3 head
