I have an EK coupe, and I have the Tsunami T2000 front, and Buddy Club sides and rear for my car. I am going about painting this next weekend, and getting all the supplies this next week. Any suggestions for painting or do's and don'ts?

Also, has anyone needed to alter either the Tsunami front or BC rear to fit? Lastly, can I keep my stock support bars on without a problem with these bumpers?(I have heard stories of these having to be removed, I hope this is not the case)

Are you going to paint this yourself? Prepping and painting urethane the RIGHT way is a pain in the ***. Go to http://www.wingswest.com for some video and text tutorials on how to prep and paint urethane. Follow them to a "T" or your paint won't last a month. For the amount of money it costs for a Tsunami kit, it should fit very well. I don't know first hand though.

 

yah we put a tsunami lip kit on my friends 2001 civic coupe... different model but I bet quality is the same... the kit was so easy to put on ... and fit perfect... as far as your rear bumper and sides fitting perfect... I doubt it unles you got the "real" buddy club" ... many of my friends have bought those and they fit like ***... have to do mad custom work to get them to fit perfect.. the best way to check is just to take your bumpers and sideskirts off and fit it on just to c what u're dealing with

 

Thanks for the info, im not worried about the painting though. The sideskirts fit perfect as does the rear bumper, I just have to reinforce the bottom near the tires of the rear bumper so there isnt lots of vibration in high speed driving.
