One piece Fiberglass Front ends???
Hey guys i got a crx im prepping for hot rod class.
Anyways I was wondering on the one piece front end some of you guys are running, are you guys fiberglassing the bars in for the front part to keep everything tied together. If so where are you guys putting the tabs for the bars to attach and latch on?? Also what spots are you using to attach the zsus fastners. I dont want this thing comming off during a run. Thanks. Pictures would be welcome

If your just gonna run small slicks head over to http://www.mmrusa.com and check out what all they have to offer. Im sure they will be able to answer all your questions.-pdang
well ive seen there one piece front ends before and ive seen a few others before, But my question is :
Are people just clipping these on to the frame using Zsus Fasteners?
Or
Are they fiberglassing in a bar to the front end to tie everything together and then welding tabs to the frame of the car to attach?
And where are people attaching the fastners for the best location to hold to the frame.
Im using kinda wide slicks.

well there are different ways to attach it to the body, one is dzeus's on the side and the bar that slides in from mb. Im still gonna utilize the mb side but im gonna have a jerry bickel front bracket. its more like a cradle for the front and yes you have to fiberglass the bars on, But only for the cradle system which in my eyes is the only efficent way to mount your front.-pdang

Do they make something that bolts to the sides (along where it meets the door) that bolts right on? if it was an allbolt on affair, tat would be pretty convenient.

had to borrow davids pick to show you guys the mb products side bracket. It has dzeus fittings on it that are movable, and the bracket bolts on to where the factory doors bolt onto.-pdang
Cool peter, so basically the MB front end is a basic bolt up affair, with the fronts bolting onto the bumper holes and the sides bolting up to the door brackets? nice
So Its just the MB mounting kit?

yeah pretty much so. The front one can be made to bolt on but theres no need to. It clears most everything down under there assuming that you have the rebar removed.-pdang
yes the side brackets bolts up to the door bolts and the front end dzus fasting on the side brackets it comes all in the kit for $150 with the rivets and hardware
