Check out my 00 ITR just picked it up!!!!!
What up, just picked up my 00 ITR. It has 14k original miles on it, I searched for 3 months and fell into this car almost by accident. I have fallen in love with this car and have only been drving it for a week. Let me know what u think of it and what mods u would do first. Using only the best mods offered, I'm thinking 17 inch volks, aem intake, N1 exhaust, etc. Let me know whats best for performance. Enjoy the pics, and I'll post more whith better weather around here in the near future as well as pics as the mods come along.

Congrats on the car
. I have no doubt you will enjoy it tremendously.
On a more serious note though, you are looking to modify a car that you've yet to drive at its fullest potential stock. Take some time to get acquainted with it and spend the first bit of money on a driving school and some track time first. You will not regret it.

congrats on the car. look into comptech exhaust and intake, i love the sound of my exhaust. just be watchful (fawkin thieves) and have fun
Welcome to the club and welcome to Honda-Tech.
I cant believe it has such low miles. Remember that it isn't your everyday Honda. You wont have to modify it till later on down the road. I have had mine for 10 months and I am still not tired of the performance and it is totally stock. Enjoy it like I know you will.
Who wishes he looked around a little more to find one with lower than 47,000 miles.

Welcome!
Keep the car stock for a while. I know it's tempting to mod it, but attention from police and other import owners makes it not worth while when you're just doing it for kicks.
I thought I was gonna have a great time modding the car... now all I have is a short ram and I'm even considering dumping that for the stock intake again!
Take care of it and get an alarm!

Congrats.
The best mod you can have is driving skill.
Leave the car stock and autox it in D Stock.
I'm sure some PA guys would be glad to show you were the autox spots are.

Let me tell you from experience get a good set coilovers and then maybe some 15" rims, you will love it. Then maybe work on the motor a little at a time, trust me I wish I would have went this route. But I am also 100% happy with it the way it is now.
congrats dude. you will surely enjoy.
If you've never driven an R, or any oversteering-prone FF car for that matter, my one piece of advice is take it easy for a while. When you're driving hard through the twisties, DON'T let off the gas mid-corner or the back end will step out.
If you're not used to it, your reaction will be to let off more and hit the brakes. Bad move, you could lose it all the way. Now, once you've gotten used to the way the car feels, you can let it step out a little at a time through the corners and use the gas to modulate pulling it back. Kind of fun actually, and fun for scaring passengers. heh.
disclaimer - *I* of course never do this, and of course do not condone driving hard on the streets

You shouldn't do 17 in wheels first. The stockers work just fine for now. 17s are way to big if you are looking for preformance, and even if you're not, it`ll cause a bumpy ride. Go 16s max. First go with a J's Intake and an exhaust (don't know best one). Then tackle the suspension. After that concentrate on engine work. And finally exterior.

Congratulations! Now get an alarm and a kill switch and sleep with it under your pillow. J/K about the pillow part, but do take precautions, the R is one of the most stolen vehicles in the U.S. I would say enjoy your new ride, but I am sure that you already are.

, now go out and enjoy your car
