Default SI Head on HF Block... Any troubles???

I have recently swapped out the te head on my HF in favoof the 16 valve SI head. I have had a few problems with the swap but most I've been able to correct. Right now the computer is throwing the O2 sensor code and I've been told I need to adjust my ful pressure to correct the problem. The cam timing is also off by half of a tooth. Has anyone else experienced any of these problems?

We discussed the lack of the other 8 valve reliefs being a problem but decided that the ony way to find out is to try it and that part of the swap came out just fine

which ecu are you running? if the egine's running way too rich, the o2 will put show full rich to the ecu. if the ecu sees full rich for too long, it will throw the o2 code because it thinks it's the o2's fault that it's running so rich. if you're running the si ecu, i suppose it's possible that it's running that rich, in which case decreasing your fuel pressure should solve the problem.

I was thinking that too but the car runs really good. I have driven it and it feels fine to me. He drives it about 20 each way to work and back and drives it pretty hard and no major problems yet.

I am using the SI ecu and I think I'm going to try a fuel pressure regulator and see what it does for me. I still want to know of any other problems anyone else may have encountered

So the si head worked even though the hf pistons only have 8 valve reliefs?

Yea... We were a little surprised too. The valve clearance is diddley-squat but so far no trouble
